ELDERS
Charles Womack(

) serves as the President of the Board.
Charles
and his wife Linda both grew up locally in La Mirada. The Womacks are a
blended
family with eight natural children ages 23 to 33 and currently live in
La Habra
with their second family of eight foster and adoptive children, ages 5
to 19.
Charles himself came from a family of 10 childen. Charles and Linda
have attended the Vineyard Community Church in La Habra for 14 years
and have
served in the Children's Ministry teaching 5th and 6th grades for 12
years.
The Womacks have hosted home groups and have been participating in a
church service at a convalescent hospital for the past 5 years. Outside
of
their activities with our church, Charles and Linda enjoy camping,
gardening,
reading and as you could probably guess; reaching kids for Christ.
Tim Uvalle(

) is the Vice President of the Board at VCC La Habra. A
Southern California native, he attended school in the area and now lives in
Yorba Linda. He studied to be an electrician and works as Vice President of
Business Development for a large electrical contractor. Tim has attended the
Vineyard since 1980; serving in Children's Ministry for the last 23 years and
currently oversees Men's Ministry. He enjoys spending time with his son,
daughter-in-law and new grandson(!), his VCC Journey small group, traveling,
hiking, walking, watching movies and USC football or anything else USC! He is
passionate about seeing the works of Jesus, followed by signs and
wonders, take place through the authority and power of the Holy Spirit
anytime and anywhere.
Paul Sheets

) was born in a small town in the Midwest and moved to California with his family
when he was 9 years old. He grew up in Downey and currently lives in
Anaheim with his wife, and three adult children. Paul works as a
construction superintendent for one of the largest construction companies in
North America, PCL Construction Services. Paul and his family came to VCC in
1987. He is currently a lead usher and is also an Elder holding the position of
Treasurer. Paul enjoys a variety of sports activities, travel, NASCAR, cooking
and photography. He also has a love for muscle cars and currently owns a
1964 Pontiac GTO. Paul is a devoted family man, a generous friend and has a
great sense of humor. His accomplishments are many, but his focus remains
on serving and bringing out the best in others.
Rick Rivera(

) is a Southern California native. He was born in
East Los Angeles and raised in both East LA and Pico Rivera. He started
attending the La Habra Vineyard with his family in 2001. Prior to that, he was
attending the Pico Rivera Vineyard for 14 years. He lives in Whittier with his
wife, Coppie and 3 children, Gaege, 18, Marc, 11, and Rileigh, 7. Besides
being a member of the Board of Elders, Rick and Coppie oversee Storehouse, the
Church's food and clothing ministry as well as
the Mercy Evangelism Team (METS), that conducts various outreaches throughout
the year, all to serve the surrounding community. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends,
camping, as well as admiring his small antique rifle collection!
Sid Rogers(

) was born in Des Moines, Iowa and bounced between Iowa
and Southern California during his growing up years until 1980 when he finally
settled in Southern California to attend Talbot Seminary (Biola University).
Sid teaches science at Cerritos High School full-time and serves our church as
the Teaching Pastor as well as Secretary of the Board. He has been at our church for 10 years and is presently
responsible for the Sunday morning teaching, various training seminars, and
serves as an Elder. He and his wife, Nancy, have two grown sons, Daniel and
Paul. Daniel is married to Heidi and they live in Salt Lake City, Utah. Paul is
attending college and still lives at home. In his spare time, which is limited,
he enjoys reading and woodcarving.
STAFF
Janet Berry (

) was born and raised in Southern
California and now lives in Yorba Linda. She has been at VCC La Habra for 23
years and came on staff here 22 years ago. She serves as the Pastor of Ministry
Development in which she oversees all ministries, does leadership development
within them and also develops new ministries within the church. In her free
time, she enjoys singing, entertaining, interior design, watching movies and
reading. She is married to Frank. They have no kids or pets, but are blessed to
have 10 godchildren!
Stephanie Laundrie (

) grew up in Arkansas and came to California in 1973. She has been at VCCLH since 2005 and has been working here as the Church Secretary since 2006. She is married to Rus and has two children Serenity and Taylor, and two grandchildren, Taro and Noelani. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her heavenly Father, worship and read.
